Sometimes an idea has wheels – in this case we mean literally. Barrett & Company Real Estate purchased a new van at the end of 2010 for its Designed to Sell staging services. The intention was that Barrett’s Designed to Sell team could move furniture or sellers’ belongings during the staging process. But we soon realized that the Barrett van could offer so much more to the community at large.
When it’s not being used by our clients and staging team, our Barrett & Company van is available for use by the general public.
Feel free to borrow our van for an hour or a day. This service is a complimentary community service! Just return the van to Barrett with a full tank of gas and in clean condition.
The Barrett express van is available for anything you may need a van for — moving items to storage or disposal, moving items to your new home, picking up a just-purchased couch or rug. The community use of the van is just one of the ways Barrett & Company Real Estate continues to reach out to the towns it serves. In 2010, Barrett donated over $20,000 to community groups and their fundraising efforts. So far this year the Boy Scouts and the Holy Family Youth Group have borrowed the Barrett express van to pick up Christmas trees in Concord!
